I LOVE BALANCE PILATES CLASSES.
The mat pilates classes that I run are general classes. I emphasise in my classes that you work at your own pace and you do not compete with others in the class.Everyone has strengths and weeknesses and imbalances in their bodies. We need to understand sometimes that more is not better and work at the level that is right for us.
Important features from doing pilates classes with me should be:
- Non competitive
- Flexibility. My classes always have a stretching element.
- Using your whole body during a class
- Covering all 5 planes of pilates positions
- Safety – using verbal and non verbal adjustments I always put safety first with my students ,so if there are any injuries or problems I will always take these into consideration
- Work at your own level. I will teach an exercise at many different levels so that everyone is challenged to the level that they are ready for.
