RUN 4 THE KIDS TRAINING UPDATE
I HAVE BEEN ABSENT IN MY BLOGGING OF MY TRAINING FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS.
I went to Sydney for the weekend and got distracted. I have still been running consistently and have finally gone for a run outside.
Up until week 4 I was still running only on the treadmill. I need to run early morning or late at the moment because it is too hot during the day. I have been having clients either early morning or in the evenings so this is why I have been sticking to the treadmill.
I ran outside for 30 minutes during week 4 and covered almost 5km which I was very happy with.
I have still been running 4 times each week on the treadmill but as yet I have not ran any further than 6.5km without stopping.
I am now at week 5, so I need to get serious. I plan to do a 10km run this week.
Last week I walked 176,000 steps for the week and climbed 3,000 steps.
This week I have 2 events on so I will have to use my time management skills very well.
Friday I have Relay 4 life and will be walking for 5 or 6 hours and
Sunday I have Yoga devotion by the ocean, so will have the day at Phillip Island without an opportunity to run.
I am excited about my progress and am at the half way point now.
