RUN 4 THE KIDS TRAINING UPDATE

ONLY 2 WEEK TO GO.

I am very confident now with only 2 weeks to go.

I have increased my cardio sessions to 1 hour running for the past 2 weeks. I have been doing 5 cardio session per week.

Most of my training is still inside although I have had a couple outdoors. It has been so hot that I have been running later in the day when it has cooled down a little.

I have also increase my stair climbing on the stair master to 4.000 steps per week. This week will be the last week to keep my 1 hours running sessions and then I will back it off next week.

I have still been keeping up my weights and yoga and pilates. I have also been challenging myself to do 150,000 steps per week. Last week I walked 160,000 steps but the week before I came up a little short at 143,000.

Although I am not going to break any records with speed, I am confident that I will be able to complete the course and enjoy it.

I am also starting to increase my walks for the Surf trek 40 km walk on the 29th April. Yesterday I walked 22.5 km along the Yarra trail from South yarra to Collingwood. Beautiful walk with lots of nature as well, so close to the city.

We are so spoilt for choice that there is no excuse for not getting out and enjoying the City, bush or the beach.

Home stretch, here I come.
