Balance Yourself for Life Workshop

My goal is to motivate and inspire people to balance and centre their lives to be the best that they can be both physically and emotionally. My philosophy in life is we need to exercise our mind, body and spirit and I wish to educate others to the do the same.

My name is Wendy Anastasi, I have been in the fitness industry for 18 years. I am a qualified fitness leader, personal trainer, Pilates instructor and Purna Yoga instructor. In 2009 I started my journey into yoga with Level I at the Byron yoga centre in Byron Bay. At the start of 2012, I again went up to Byron Bay to complete Level 2 at the centre and now have completed 500 hours in Purna yoga teaching.

Purna yoga is a mixture of Hatha and Iyengar. These 2 styles of yoga are strong in the tradition of yoga.

The Benefits of yoga are huge. Some benefits are:

Improving posture and circulation

Reducing stress and enhance relaxation techniques.

Improving concentration and mental clarity

Increasing stamina and endurance
